Mobile website for non profit organizations
I have been coding so hard the last few weeks and realize I was creating a product for a wide range of potential visitors and customers, if that is the case, and asked myself a question: Is the company CEO or person in charge going to request a site that users can browse using their mobile phones? I’ll tell you the answer in a minute.
Just like you would do during cold winter nights, intermittently reading articles and short books about how the mobile market has rised drastically to little more than 52%, at least according to companies doing research studies, it made me think about a possible solution.
I know, that percentage is to taking you to another galaxy(not necessary the tablet…) and think about how many places you can reach with your mobile phone…may be not to pay your bills yet, but for sure you want to know how your kid are doing at school or how to access information for that important conference coming up next month. I mean just by using the iPhone, iPad, Droid, Blackberry, etc.
An interesting percentage of non-profit organizations, and small(mid & big) business companies are right now looking for ways to get their site converted to a mobile web site or a web site that is mobile friendly. The reason is simple, reach what before I was not capable or had the technology to do it. This translates into more customers and at the end more profitability or in case of a non profit being able to develop a bigger community of volunteers or memberships. It’s not about big budgets no more.
What I have in mind is offer an affordable plan so both worlds can smoothly and easily reach that goal, no hassle, just a simple set of pages with neat colors. Ready to go in 2 weeks.
I invite everyone to talk and discuss this plan together. I want to bring (mobile)solutions to the table. I have a feeling, this is the time to do it. I feel the speed…
Well, the answer to the above question was Yes. I already started new designs aimed to mobile website for non profit organizations. Awesome!
So, now the question goes straight back to you: When do we start developing for mobile? Meetup? Facetime?
